We
are very pleased to announce that Professor Galea from The University
of Greenwich, UK and several other professors will be giving lectures
on the importance of disaster prevention and safety for the built
environment, this will include ground tunnels, high-rise buildings etc.
Professor Galea’s lecture will focus on the evacuation analysis
software EXODUS and fire analysis software SMARTFIRE; both of which
simulate the interaction of pedestrians in ‘disasters’ and the ability
to import these results into FORUM8's 3D virtual reality software
UC-win/Road for enhanced visualization.
