Forum8 holds the Junior Software Seminar for elementary and junior high students who have interests in software as a chance to use virtual reality (VR) for their study theme. This workshop style seminar has been held for 10 times so far, and this contest is for participants of this seminar during the winter vacation, spring vacation, and summer vacation this year.
On 16 November, 2017, six gold prizes, three silver prizes, and six bronze prizes were awarded at Shinagawa Intercity Hall. |

| A snow mountain looks sharp against the evening sky. A city, an amusement
park, and a garden are arranged inside the road created by scraping the
mountain surface. Ships can be seen on the waterside. The point is the
outmost star-shaped road. |

| You must want to see this olympics that animals participate to. In addition
to the fields maintained in the winter, the competitors in tennis and swimming
come in this summer. A frog pumping while running is the number one of
the track by far. People at the tennis court are excited with the duels
between different animals. A squid, octopus, fish, and others competed
for speed at the swimming pool, and who do you think won? A squilla did! |

| Three islands |

| The scene is the Danjo Islands in Nagasaki. This is a seaborne version
of the marine aquarium that this participant created before. Over the ocean
reflecting beautifully, the sea animals and transportations floating in
the sky are coming and going. The islands are connected with the cable-stayed
bridges, and there is a convenience store on the way. Two types of hotels
are flying, and the marine cottages have ruins style, shrine style and
Western style. Each piers are elaborate. You will feel that you want to
stay at these hotels and cottages. |

| This is the first try of game scenario creation at the Junior Software
Seminar. When the scenario is started, the count down for the race begins.
You can get starfish by touching them, and your car applies a brake suddenly
when being stepped on by the weasel. Unfortunately, the creator seemed
to have run short of time, but this is a promising course. |

| It is the very colourful night city. The roads on ground and elevated roads
create complex multi-layer city structure. The colourful models are stereoscopically
combined and skillfully arranged. The aircrafts are moving vertically.
This future city is seen like a SF movie and is filled with a feeling of
floating. |

| This is a city created in Ishikari city that modern period and the contemporary
period connect. The past and modern towns can be seen in this side and
the other side. Let's depart from the castle in the past area and walk
through the streets older than the Showa era where pedestrians in kimono
are walking and the cherry blossom street between the gates. At the opposite
side of the gate, the modern building street where business people in suit
are passing appears. Creating all contents onto the water is a great idea,
and a night view context is also prepared. The landscape is created at
good balance. |

| This loop road draws a heart-shape course and seems to become popular.
The flowers cover the ground beyond the mountain. Actually, the huge park
is floating in the air, and you can see fireworks displayed, rabbits pounding
rice cake, and a large duck walking. |

| This future is filled with prayer and implication. According to the creator,
a third of males are loaded in the balloon and launched into the sky to
reduce men because the number of male has increased too much and the marriage
rate has declined to 30%. Moreover, the large mantis shrimp attracted by
the smell of humans stabs buildings by its scissors to eat people inside
it. Meanwhile, flowers are decorated on the buildings and beautiful fireworks
are displayed. The dolls are artistically arranged on the collapsed piers
and seen like a symbolic altar. |

| The strongest revelers has stormed out of the earth and emerged on the
moon! In the gravity of the moon, they jump beyond highways, flame, giant
and "WAIT" more lightly. |

| A big pond is created near a city. Fish swimming in the pond are also large
and are coming to even the edge of the pond where flame is placed. The
Ferris wheels are lined up in the suburbs, and wineries and cherry blossoms
can also be seen. |

| In this work, forest is expressed in the unusual way of arranging Chinese
characters instead of putting tree models. The 3D text "yuuenchi"
is placed at the location of an amusement park instead of lots of play
equipment, and "Hayate" in front of a museum. There is also a

| This is the railroad in space. The blue planet is beautiful. The huge base
and birds are also flying in this fantastical world. |

| This carefully created work shows a rural town. There are a loop railway,
country station and platform, river, lake, arched bridge, and tunnel. There
are also a radio tower and commercial facilities. Traffic lights are controlled
at intersections, and you can also see pedestrians. Blocks are arranged
along the coast, ships are anchored, and the traffic is busy. |

Sakushima in Aichi has become the fortress island. Each facility is orderly connected to the roads. Both the Navy and the Air Force have bases, and the formation of combat aircraft takes off.
The model selection and arrangement have a sense of unity, and you can feel the creator's passion for details. |
