 Overall introduction
Oculus Plug-in enables to track the camera view within UC-win/Road in line with the user's head movement using the sensor data. It is also possible to set the distortion correction of images according to the lens. Simply put, the plug-in outputs 3D VR environment rendered by UC-win/Road  on Oculus Rift's dual lens to create stereoscopic 3D images with lens barrel distortion, giving the user a sense of immersion into VR space. Thanks to the development of a newer version of the plugin that uses the latest Oculus SDK and works with UC-win/Road Ver.11.1 and younger versions, UC-win/Road can now be interoperated with the latest Oculus Rift Consumer Version (CV1) with rendering stability better than ever.
 Oculus Rift CV1
Oculus Rift is the next generation VR headset developed by Oculus VR, Inc. who launched the first consumer version (CV1) in the market in March 2016. The incorporation of the new Oculus Rift plugin that uses the latest Oculus SDK into UC-win/Road Ver.11.1 enabled a seamless linkage between UC-win/Road software and Oculus Rift CV1 for an immersive VR simulation experience.

Oculus Rift CV1 has bigger and better features over all previous versions of Oculus Rift. With 25% higher display resolution than DK2, its predecessor, CV1 is fully qualified to output stereoscopic image on an Head Mount Display that provides an ultra wide field of view with a resolution much higher than a computer display. Low-latency constellation head tracking technology to track the wearer's head position and orientation makes his/her real-world head movements completely in-sync with the VR simulation as he looks in all directions,
this is achieved by increasing the refresh rate of the screen which in turn help prevent 3D sickness often experienced during HMD VR simulation. CV1 has a refresh rate of 90Hz, which is much higher than a regular computer.

System hardware requirements becomes more demanding as the specification of the hardware connected to the computer increase. No problem. Oculus implements a new technology aimed at reducing system hardware requirements while maintaining content quality across a wider array of hardware. This technology is referred to as Asynchronous Spacewarp (ASW), a frame-rate smoothing technique that almost halves the CPU/GPU time required to produce nearly the same output from the same content. UC-win/Road Oculus Rift Plugin
The Oculus Rift is a next-generation Head Mounted Display designed for immersive gaming with built-in sensor that uses custom tracking technology to provide its users an ultra-low latency 360° head tracking and Ultra Wide Field of View 3D stereoscopic image at an affordable price. Oculus Rift Plug-in creates a stereoscopic 3D image with lens barrel distortion and tracks the camera view within UC-win/Road in line with the user's head movement using the sensor data. This way, a sense of immersion into the 3D environment is further improved, and thus a higher quality driving simulation is feasible. In essence Oculus Rift can render on its dual lens UC-win/Road's 3D VR driving environment as 360 stereoscopic image in real-time, to give user maximum immersion and more intuitive and realistic driving experience.

Through built-in motion sensors, the system accurately tracks the user’s head movement and view perspective. Oculus Rift Plug-in used in conjunction with Oculus Rift itself and UC-win/Road is ideal for construction simulation as well, the subject can get a better idea of the current condition of the site, what it's going to look like after construction, and the entire life cycle of the construction. Above all, there is no need to carry around heavy duty hardware to step into a more vivid and immersive VR environment with a higher degree of realism from anywhere in the world.

Oculus Rift and driving simulation

Also, It can be used into built different kinds of simulator system. Beside driving simulation, we have made a good performance on walking simulator, integrated system combine with HMD. Your consulting is always welcomed.

New Oculus Rift plug-in utilize new SDK to improve the drawing stability, by adopt new ASW technology which enable user gain a better VR experience. Although DK2 is still able to work now, it is possible DK2 support finished after 2017.
 Development plan
Anti-alias display support
Jaggies happens at the edge of polygon which display in different view point on right eye and left eye is the main reason cause uncomfortable on the VR head mounted display device. Ver.12 offering Anti-alias display support can reduce jaggies happens at the edge of polygon.

HUD display、weather phenomenon support
In the future version, we will continue to improve HUD display(event message and image display) support by using 2D information on the screen. and continue work to deal with some special weather phenomenon(front glass, sun flares, etc.)which is not totally supported at present.

HMD posture reflecting according to sound effection
The sound of traffic flow, replaying sound effection of flying model could responde to HMD posture information. we will promote development which makes people fell the sound immersion from ears.
