 Introduction
Although a server had conventionally been used mainly for the purpose of an on-line service, mail, a database, and data storage, in the latest cloud computing, the new service and application which need high-speed CPU and GPU have appeared. Moreover, super computing also uses GPU by parallel processing.

Although the server equipped with high-speed CPU and GPU was needed in use of such as this applications, only data and a network were applied for the hardware of the server in many cases, and the server with high-speed CPU/GPU loading was rare and expensive until now. Furthermore, in the case of the application which needs high-speed CPU/GPU, the needs of data storage is decreasing.
 UMDC
UMDC is a relatively small server that can include high end GPU cards (full length, dual slot). Its size is about 4 times smaller than a classic 19 inch server, saving you plenty of space. Its cost is half the cost of its classic counterpart. Despite its size and cost, it has the ability to perform high speed graphic calculation. Therefore, it is an ideal server for structuring a system that renders 3D VR environment to any type of client terminals from which anyone on the cloud can interact with the VR environment at anytime from anywhere.
 Design
Despite having a volume of approximately 1/4th the volume of a classic 19 inch server, it supports full length, dual slot PCI-Express X16 cards (single slot also supported). It can carry up to 16 2.5 inch hard disks for storing data (not counting OS disk and OS backup disk) as well as dual motherboards.
