University of Pisa in 2011, hosted by the assistant professor Fiamma

In this year, we will have the 4th VR Summer Workshop in University of Pisa (http://www.unipi.it/english/), PISA, Italy from 7/25-28, 2011 follwing the suggestion of Assistant Professor, Paolo Fiamma (University of Pisa). Mr. Fiamma has focused on the public parking in the development project of historical area in Pisa. He has initiated the research, investigating the simulation of people's flow and its effect on traffic using UC-win/Road.

We had the summer workshops in 8/12-14, 2008 in Phoenix, USA, 7/28-31, 2009 in Hakone, Japan, and 7/22-24, 2010 in Santa Barbara, USA. The subsequent research results were presented in the International VR Symposium in the same year. In the International VR Symposium, the researches and projects using VR (UC-win/Road) are presented to contribute to the spread of VR technologies. They have presented a variety of themes including the advanced projects based on their past researches or the projects with new approach.
