Associate Professor Gregoire Larue is a Principal Research Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. He works within the MAIC/UniSC Road Safety Research Collaboration, where he leads the Data and Technology stream.
His background spans applied mathematics, engineering, and road safety. His research focuses on how emerging technologies can detect and assess impaired driving performance, using driving simulators, in-vehicle systems, and human factors approaches.

Dr. Jun-Hao Shao

Profile
Dr. Jun-Hao Shao received his Ph.D. in Urban and Environmental Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, Japan. He joined the Disaster Prevention Research Institute at Central Police University, Taiwan, in 2014 and has served as its Director since 2025.
His primary teaching subjects include Multivariate Analysis, Evacuation Shelter and Logistics Management, Urban and Community Disaster Prevention, and Disaster Response Management. His research focuses on evacuation simulation in mass transit stations and large-scale building environments, with particular emphasis on evacuation behavior simulation and risk management for critical infrastructure facilities during disasters. He has devoted many years to the study of emergency evacuation planning and disaster risk mitigation.
Dr. Shao continues to advance his research on disaster simulation and evacuation management, further developing his expertise in these fields. He is a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) and the Taiwan Society of Disaster Management, and previously served as Vice President of the Chinese Society of City Management.

Dr. LE THU HUYEN is currently teaching and managing the research centers under the University of Transport and Communications (UTC), and is also a member of East Asia Society for Transport Studies (EASTS). She has experience in working and researching and training in the field of Traffic Engineering and Transportation such as traffic safety, transportation planning and management, logistics and supply chain management, etc. She has been participating into the consulting projects to support the central, local governments, private sectors and scientific institutes from international to domestic. Dr. Huyen obtained a PhD in Transportation Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany, a Master's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand and a Bachelor's degree from Foreign Trade University and an IT Engineering degree at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Dr. BUI CONG DO is Lecturer, Division of Informatics in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Faculty (UTC). He has participated in the research projects and typical projects on the construction and maintenance of road systems, and the development of sensor systems for traffic management, etc. He has been working on a number of projects funded by foreign and domestic investors. Dr. Do obtained a doctor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan, a doctor's degree in Bridge and Tunnel Construction and a degree in Road and Bridge Construction from University of Transport and Communications.

Profile
Professor Jiao holds a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. (direct doctoral program) from Tsinghua University and was a JSPS research fellow at the University of Tokyo. He has been selected for multiple talent programs including Young Beijing Scholar, Great Wall Scholar, and Beijing emerging talent initiatives, and has received honors such as Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation Leader from the China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association.
For many years he has conducted research in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and transportation planning and management. He has led more than ten national- and provincial-level projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and major projects of the National Social Science Fund, and has published over 100 academic papers.
He currently serves as a deputy to the People's Congress of Xicheng District, Beijing, and as vice chair of the Road Infrastructure Modeling and Simulation Committee of the China Simulation Federation, among other roles, with significant influence in academia and industry.
