  1. Supports 2D plan creation
    Independent floor plans for drawing and editing 2D figures has been added.
    You can create a cross-section from a 3D model and overlay drawings imported from other formats on a 3D model to check the consistency, and also create a 2D plan such as an isometric figure from a 3D model.
  2. Supports glTF import/export (Professional Version only)
    gITF files, which supports PBR materials for textures to be rendered with ultra-high quality, can now be imported/exported.
  3. HDR (High Dynamic Range) display
    Real-time HDR display during 3D model editing and rendering is now supported.
    (OS, GPU, and a monitor supporting HDR display are required.)
  4. Real-time shadow display
    Real-time display of shadows on the edit screen is now supported.

■Fixed Problems
[General]
  1. The application can now be launched faster than ever.
[File Import/Export]
  1. Scene files saved by Shade R4 or older does not get loaded correctly. Fixed.
  2. After tilting the Figure Window in the Rotate Mode, scrolling the scene inside, and then saving that scene, when it is re-opened, it switches to Local Coordinate Mode. Fixed.
  3. In the FBX Importer and in the COLLADA Importer, the cooridnates set for the "Use Shade Scene Unit" option by default are inconsistent, and it will not reset to default coordinates even after clicking the "Default" button. Fixed.
  4. In the Export Settings window of the FBX Importer or the COLLADA Importer, when "Selected Objects" is selected as "Export" and "cm" is selected as "Unit", the target object will shrink down to 1/10 its actual size and be exported in that size. Fixed.
  5. In the Standard Version and in the Professional Version, when an image is saved into a Photoshop(PSD) format from an image box such as the one in the Surface Material Window, either the file will not get exported or the application crashes. Fixed.
[Figure Window]
  1. Depending on the size of the Figure Window, the position of the 3D Cursor in the bottom right view is sometimes deviated by 1 pixel. Fixed.
  2. Fixed an issue that the Display option cannot be switched to "Show Highlight" when the Figure Window is in Parallel Projection Mode.
  3. Fixed an issue that the color and intensity of every Modeling Light Type cannot be reflected in highlight display.
  4. In the Windows Version running on Windows 10 Intel UHD Graphics 630, when Direct3D 12 is set as the graphics AP, sometimes the Figure Window does not get displayed correctly.
[Modeling]
  1. When changing the thickness of a mesh by selecting the "Thickness" option in Tools > Modify Mesh menu and then dragging the mesh using the mouse, the thickness does not change properly. Fixed.
  2. When converting a surface to polygon mesh using the "Convert to Polygon Mesh" option, if the Surface Divisions is set to "Custom", sometimes the polygon mesh does not get generated. Fixed.
  3. Under the Rotate Mode, Figure Window View does not move in the correct direction when using scrolling.
  4. When using the Scale Manipulator to scale an object, copying does not work with the Z key (Windows) or option(macOS)+Drag. Fixed.
  5. When using the Shear Manipulator to skew an object, copying does not work with the Z key (Windows) or option(macOS)+Drag. Fixed.
  6. When copying and pasting the Part containing an object to which a Master Surface has been assigned, a warning dialog box is not displayed. Fixed.
  7. When copying and pasting a Polygon Mesh containing a Face Group to which a Master Surface has been applied, a warning dialog box is not displayed. Fixed.
  8. Fixed a crash when an object that includes an external reference scene is copied and pasted.
  9. When a Figure Window with "Front only" set as "Element Selection Type" is active, clicking on the "Add" button in the "Enter Coordinates" dialog box will cause a crash. Fixed.
  10. When editing objects or edges, choosing "Flip Hidden Faces" in the "Selection" menu causes a crash. Fixed.
[CAD Modeling] (Professionalのみ)
  1. While you are creating a NURBS Object using the Toolbox's CAD creation tools in CAD Mode, when you delete the object before clicking the Apply button, the application crashes. Fixed.
[Rendering]
  1. (Professional) Fixed an issue that shadows cast by objects with PBR material are not displayed when performing transparency mapping.
[Interface]
  1. In the browser window, sometimes the dotted lines representing a hierarchical structure are rendered only partially. Fixed.
  2. With regards to Shade3D Package License, the "Manage payment information..." option is not displayed. Fixed.
  3. When an image window with a large rendered image displayed is left-clicked, the performance of the application slows down. Fixed.
  4. (Windows)In the Windows Version, when the display language in Windows differs from the language set in Shade3D, the UI fonts are not consistent i.e. various different fonts are displayed in the UI. Fixed.
  5. (macOS) Fixed an issue that the Ruler Window is not translucent.
[Script]
  1. A script that has been recorded by clicking the "Record" button in the Script Window gets lost when Shade3D is restarted. Fixed.
[Block UI Programming Tool]
  1. The "Display Enter Coordinates dialog" block, which is one of the blocks that are displayed when the "Others" button is clicked, does not work. Fixed.

    Select the objects of interest from the list of computed “Surface Area”, “Volume”, “Barycenter”, or “Interference” displayed in their respective tab within in the Measurement Window, and then click the Fit button in each tab. This will fit the highlighted objects within the viewport of the Figure Window.

  1. (Windows) The driver version may not be displayed on the "Graphics" tab of the System Information dialog box in some GPU environments. Fixed.

[File Import/Export]
  1. When exporting the data, master surface is not reflected when only the selected shape is output. Fixed.
  2. (macOS) 16bit integer grayscale image cannot be loaded. fixed.

[Figure Window]
  1. When only one of the display options "Glossy display" and "Environment map display" is on, the setting status is not reflected correctly in the actual display. Fixed
  2. The back color of the display option “Double Sided (Color Back Faces)” is multiplied by the diffuse reflection color of the Shade3D material. Fixed
  3. (Windows) When opening a scene file with real-time shadow enabled in the environment of Intel HD Graphics 4600, the "Unexpected error" dialog box is displayed. Fixed.
  4. (macOS) In some GPU environments, the display of the back color by the display option "Double Sided (Color Back Faces)" is not reflected. Fixed.

[Modeling]
  1. The highlight of the object snap to the snap target is displayed only in the view with the mouse cursor. Fixed.
  2. In object snap, the highlight for the midpoint of the polygon mesh is displayed at the position that doubles the transformation matrix of the upper part. Fixed.
  3. In object snap, highlights of wireframe made of Primitive and Surface do not reflect the transformation matrix of the upper part. Fixed.
  4. In object snap, snap to the NURBS curve do not correctly reflect the transformation matrix of the upper part. Fixed.
  5. In object snap, snaps are not created in the correct position for mirrored copy of Primitive, Surface and NURBS. Fixed.
  6. In object snap, snapping to linear tangent handles is improved.
  7. When the manipulator is in local mode, the display during the drag operation does not reflect the local coordinate system. Fixed.
  8. When manipulator coordinate is Local and manipulator type is Rotate, undo/ redo of the movement of the shape in object mode does not work properly. Fixed.
  9. When “Add Point” in modification mode in the toolbox is selected, the control point is not added. Fixed.
  10. In the UV view, when the unit system is other than "mm", the amount of movement of the scroll operation becomes fraudulently large. Fixed.
  11. Manipulator Coordinate Mode is not reflected in 2D drawing view (Local/ Normal mode does not work). Fixed.
  12. Changed not to display the manipulator when 3D drawings and 2D drawings are selected at the same time.
  13. In creating a text object, the cursor moves to an unintended position when typing a character in the text box in the tool parameters. Fixed.
  14. (macOS) In creating a text object, a delay of display occurs when dragging “Extrude” slider in the tool parameters.
  15. (macOS) When selecting “Switch” from the context menu of the browser to apply to line objects in a Curved Surface, a delay of display occurs. Fixed.

[CAD Modeling] (Professional Version only)
  1. When selecting multiple objects for the measurement of Area, Volume and Barycenter, modified the display of objects’ name to a tree view of all selected objects and individual objects.
  2. In the measurement information window, the display content is not updated when switched it from active scenes. Fixed.
  3. When converting an object to other type of objects, the dimension line set to the object is deleted. Fixed.
  4. The display of dimension lines does not reflect the conversion matrix of the upper part. Fixed.

[Rendering]
  1. Fixed a crash when starting rendering immediately after startup.
  2. In HiDPI environment, the block cursor may disappear during rendering. Fixed.
  3. In radiosity, calculation of only the selected object cannot be conducted. Fixed.
  4. If the shift key is pressed at the end of rendering, the rendering size will be changed to the size of the image window. Fixed.

[Interface]
  1. Changed to display a warning dialog when switching material types with the "Create" button in the Surface Window.
  2. Changed not to reset the Surface Settings when the same material type as the current one is selected with the "Create" button in the Surface Window.
  3. Fixed an issue that the scroll position is reset to the upper left when the image window is redrawn.
