"The development and future expectation of computer
graphics"

The history of Computer Graphic had
begun in the early 1960's and it has improved along with hardware and
software. An essential desire to express an information in a picture or
figure has contributed to a remarkable advancement in the technology
with the successful results of research developments brought to life
continuously for half-a-century from the primitive stage in which
simulated display via line printer and linear drawing via XY plotter
were common. Computer Graphic continues to be used extensively not only
in the industrial world but also for anime, game and even movies. The
technology is developing itself into the VR world, expanding the range
of applications in computer technology dramatically. He believes we
need to consider the kind of impact an extravagant virtual world may
have on the society and people's lives, as well as the tasks we must
work on, amid our expectations on the contributions to be made by
further developments of Computer Graphics. |

"Introduction to "Earthquake Disaster Mitigation -
Earthquake Engineering, Seismic Engineering, Tsunami Engineering and Disaster
Prevention & Reduction""

It can be said that Japan has the
cutting-edge technologies for earthquake and seismic engineering, and
disaster prevention since our country has experienced lots of
earthquakes. On the other hand, these technologies need significant
specialized and segmentalized techniques and knowledge, so there are
very few publications which cover them all. Hiromichi Yoshikawa and the
other five authors wrote an introduction "Earthquake Disaster
Mitigation" and it has been published this April. In this lecture, he
will introduce four fields (earthquake, earthquake prevention, tsunami,
disaster prevention) which are essential when considering earthquake
prevention. |

"Past, present and future of the technologies for road,
bridge, tunnel and paving and about introducing CIM"

When he was in Road Management Technology Center
established in November, 1990, he conducted a survey research for investigation,
analysis, diagnosis and deterioration prediction about comprehensive road
management and its technologies in order to keep the road stock in a good
condition. Based on these research results and in addition what he is now doing
in Pave & Road How-To Way Technology Association, he will present from
mainly about the management to technological future about road, bridge, pavement
and tunnel technologies and even about introducing CIM. |
| Doctor of Engineering. Holding a post of information
technology manager Road Management Technology Center and currently taking on a
director of Pave & Road How-To Way Technology Association. Author of some
books about pavement engineering and road engineering. He is engaged in
improvement of technology of road and pavement and promotion of research
development. | | |

"Energy analysis for air-conditioning of buildings via
DesignBuilder and EnergyPlus"

By the tight electricity demand due to the Japan's
earthquake 2 years ago, various kinds of measures for saving electricity and
energy is being taken recently. Demand response is now focused on as an
effective method for restraining demand. His company is working on energy analysis
for air-conditioning of building via DesignBuilder and he will introduce these
activities and this company's energy saving solutions. |
| He has been engaged in the technology development of

"Analysis for structures using Automation functions of
Multiframe"

Three dimensional structural analysis software,
Multiframe is a program which can be called up from a program of his own making
and the results obtained by executing the frame analysis can be used. Here he
will concretely explain the method of programming using its Automation
functions, let the roof structure in the parametrically shape of wave  come up
in a program of his own perform on analysis it in Multiframe to compare the structure's
mechanical rationalities. Automation functions can be used for exploring the
rational structural form. |
