Forum8 launches CarSim for UC-win/Road
Users of Forum8 Drive Simulators can now benefit from the improved vehicle dynamics afforded by incorporating the market-leading CarSim software into their overall system.

eCarSim' produced by Mechanical Simulation in the USA is specialist software for simulating and analysing the behaviour of four-wheeled vehicles in response to steering, braking, and acceleration inputs. Chassis systems, tyres, and electronically controlled driver assistance systems (ADAS) can also be developed and tested in CarSim.

CarSim can simulate the dynamic behaviour of passenger cars, light trucks, race cars, and utility vehicles. CarSim animates simulated tests and outputs over 700 calculated variables to plot and analyze, or export to other software systems, HIL systems, and optimization tools.


Michael Manore joins Forum8 as North American Transport Consultant
Michael Manore of Vispective Management Consultancy based in Stillwater, Minnesota has joined the leading Japanese interactive 3D visual simulation specialist Forum8 with a mandate to help develop the company's business in the United States and Canada.

He has been the Chair of the TRB Visualization in Transportation Committee for many years, a Co-Chair of the Road Safety and Simulation Steering Committee, and a Group Chair for the International Human Factors Guideline for Road Systems Design. In addition to his close involvement with the 3D visualisation market, Michael also has many years experience of working with and for transportation agencies, municipalities, visualization professionals and technology providers.

Michael commented; "I am excited to receive this opportunity of working with such a progressive company as Forum8, and particularly look forward to the challenges of my role as business development consultant.
