 Overview
The following functions have been added to Engineer's Studio® Ver 7.2.
・Simple test ・3DS export
 One shot result
One shot result function allows users to input a section force and test it instantly. Normally, we create a frame model first and give it load. Then a check is conducted after a section force appears in the frame. The one shot result does not require a frame element. The judgment of validation result (OK/NG), display of safe rate, detailed report export button are displayed for all specifications. A significant feature of this function is that distorted plane and stress distribution (Fig.1) and M-N interaction drawing (2D/3D) (Fig.2) are displayed.

The following items are supported in the simple check.

Road related specifications before 2002
  • Bending stress check for RC material
  • Shear stress check for RC material
  • Bending strength check for RC material
  • Shear strength check for RC material
  • Bending strength check for steel pier
  • Attachment stress
  • Minimum number of rebar

Limit state design method related specifications
  • Concrete standard in 1996 [Design edition]
  • Concrete standard in 2002 [Structure valification]
  • Concrete standard in 2007 [Design edition]
  • Concrete standard in 2012 [Design edition]
  • Railroad structure design, concrete structure (Oct 1999)
  • Railroad structure design, concrete structure (April 2004)

Partial factor design method (2017)
  • Bending stress check for RC/PC material
  • Shear stress check for RC/PC material
  • Bending strength check for RC/PC material
  • Shear strength check for RC/PC material
  • Bending strength check for steel pie
  • Minimum number of rebar
 3DS export
Models with 3D frames and plates can be exported in Autodesk 3DS format. Input model before analysis, deformed model after analysis, and mode figures after analysis can be exported (fig.3). Exported 3DS files can be imported in UC-win/Road (fig.4).
